This French Onion Soup Pasta is another really easy weeknight meal for the family. Besides being really easy, it has the bonus of being a one-pan dish which I always appreciate mid-week. And since most of the ingredients can be stored in the pantry or the freezer, this is a great recipe to always have on hand as a back up or an alternative. Enjoy! .French Onion Pasta - a Trader Joe's Recipe
Note: can be served as is, or with chicken INGREDIENTS:
PREPARATION: Step 1: Add both containers of French onion soup to the bottom of a large pan or Dutch oven. Step 2: Nestle the pappardelle nests around the soup cubes. Step 3: Pour the chicken broth over the nests. Step 4: Over medium heat, bring the pan to a gentle simmer. Cover and cook for 12-15 minutes, until the pasta is cooked and most of the liquid is absorbed. (note: Stir 1-2 times while cooking to prevent sticking to the pot.) Step 5: Scatter fresh parsley and stir to mix. After plating, drizzle with chili oil or chili crunch for a little spice. (note: you can easily add some rotisserie chicken if you need to up the protein.) Comments are closed.
