If you are a reader like me, then there is already a queue of books to read in your kindle, and a pile of hardcovers and paperbacks on your table. In my case I have a few piles. Plus a few lists in my phone. And now Goodreads is telling me to update all my stuff for the year end snapshot and there is no way I finish all of these books.
But time is precious during the holidays, and taking the time to sit and read is a gift to yourself. But what book will be worth your time? I always stand by the books that I post. But lately I have been getting some amazing(!) recommendations from a lot of friends. So I thought I'd share this great recommended list. I empirically trust the judgement of each person that gave me the books on this list. I hope it is helpful for your shopping - for others or for yourself. Enjoy! Trust, by Hernan Diaz March, by Geraldine Brooks Lunch in Paris, by Elizabeth Bard The Poet's Game - a spy in Moscow, by Paul Vidich The Secret Christmas Library, by Jenny Colgan The Heir Apparent, by Rebecca Armitage Emperesses of Seventh Avenue, by Nancy MacDonell The Let Them Theory, by Mel Robbins The Plot, by Jean Hanff Korelitz Who Better Than You?, by Will Packer Comments are closed.
