It is loud in my house with three cats and four dogs. But I wouldn't have it any other way. Here are some of my go-to items for our furbabies. These links are commissionable.
In order to make dinner efficiently, you need to have the right tools on hand. Here are some of my favorites that I use all of the time:  I love this frying and sautee pan from Our Place. I recently upgraded my cookware and I am disappointed only that I waited so long. This pot is the perfect tool for almost everything I cook.  Since the sautee pan was so awesome, I purchased the Perfect Pot from Our Place to go with it. It's perfect for pasta, soups, and chili.  As a breast cancer survivor, I have been making a concerted effort to remove plastic from my kitchen whenever possible. These wood utensils from Oxo have been perfect for all of my pots and recipes.  This egg cooker is small but mighty, and it makes perfect eggs every time. It's perfect for making those eggs to go with ramen while you make the rest of the dish, or for making hard boiled eggs for egg salad.  Garlic! This rocker garlic press tool makes mincing it so very easy.  I make a lot of sheet pan dinners and vegetables, and these sheet pans from USA Pan are my favorites. They have a silicon coating that makes them super easy to clean. I have them in eery size.  These are my favorite salt and pepper grinders. They are fully adjustable to determine how finely you want the salt and pepper ground, and they even come with a funnel to help with filling.
In addition to my Top ten travel must-haves, I have a few more favorites as well for use in flight . These are just for convenience, but they can make a big difference. These links are commissionable.  1. TSA approved locks from Hero Travel Supply: I have seen all t\he videos of how they can break into your luggage, but I think a lock is an good deterrent as well. Commissionable link  2. Turtle Neck Pillow: If you are flying overnight, you need to get some sleep. This is the best way I have found to support my neck and get some zzz's, and without encroaching on my neighbor's space. Commissionable link  3. Portable pill organizer: especially when you are flying, you want to make sure you still take your vitamins and supplements on schedule. What better way to do that but to keep them in a nice little organizer that you can accessible in your carry-on. Commissionable Link  4. Lightweight makeup bag from Aloha: For me, I keep everything I might want handy while in flight in this little bag. hand sanitizer, lip balm, moisturizer, and my pill organizer. Maybe a spare set of contact lenses, too. his bag is squishable, waterproof, and lightweight. Commissionable Link  5. LED Pocket Mirror: For obvious reasons. This one is the best - I actually use it every day. Commissionable Link  6. Portable airplane seat cushion: It you are flying a long haul flight - like Hawaii, Japan or Australia - then you want to know that your seat will be comfortable. And that is not always the case. Make sure you can get comfy with a padded get seat. This one went back and forth to Australia this year and saved the day. Commissionable Link  7. Aloh Hand Sanitizing Wipes: You can use these on your hands and your immediate airplane seat area. Alcohol free, hydrating and a great smell - much better than the chemical options. I like the sweet orange bergamot ones.

Lots of friends ask me about what to bring on a trip - what is necessary, what they need in different countries, and what they need in different climates. I've consolidated them here for you. Voltage Converter and Adapter: When you have lots of devices to charge and multiple people, it is so convenient to have an all in charger and converter for all of your electric needs. This one also has a nice long cord. We usually set it up on a nightstand or on the desk for everyone to use. Commissionable link.  2. Power Strip for a Cruise: Cruise lines are very particular about what you can and cannot bring with you. But there are never enough outlets so this cruise-approved power strip is a must. Commissionable link.  3. Portable Charger: Speaking of charging - between using google maps, text and social media while out and about all day long, you will inevitably need to recharge your phone. This is my favorite on the go charger. It easy plus into an outlet (on your portable converter!) to recharge, and it can recharge multiple phones each day. I don't leave the hotel room without it, As an aside - I buy all of my accessories in pink so that there is no doubt amongst my family which one is mine. No one is "stealing" my charger :-) Commissionable link.  4. Hanging Toiletry Bag: This hanging toiletry bag from Bagsmart is the best one I've tried. I have now been using it for years. In tight spaces, like a boat, it is best to have a hanging bag becaase counter space is extremely limited. But I have found that this bag is just as useful and versatile for any trip. The four clear sections allow me to easily organize and locate what I am looking for. Love this bag. Commissionable link.  5. Makeup Brush Holder: I love this silicone makeup brush holder. It is easy to clean, but also keeps my brushes safe, dry and separate from all of my other toiletries. I have been using mine for 5 years and I love it. Commissionable link.  6. Travel Jewelry Organizer: This travel jewelry organizer from Bagsmart is great for any trip, but trips where you absolutely must keep the overall size of your baggage in mind. It is flat, soft-sided and matches the hanging toiletry bag. Commissionable link.  7. Silicone Heat resistant pouch/mat for styling tools: I have been using this mat at home for year, and of course use it for travel as well. It is extremely helpful when you need to style your hair and rush out quickly for the airport or for the beginning of a conference on the last day. This is lightweight, but a travel heavy weight. Commissionable link.  8. Portable Steamer: Not all trips require you to bring a clothes steamer, but when you do know you'll need one then you want to know it will work. This one works the best of all the ones I've tried, and it's affordable. Commissionable link  9. Shoe Bag: Shoes get dirty, even if you can't see it. And I don't want that all over my clothes. So I use this shoe bag to keep them organized, safe and separate. Plus it proved really handy when Croatian Air said I was over the weight limit (it may have been all the truffles in my suitcase!) and I had to remove something. Since its not like I had another bag with me to hold a ton of my things, I panicked. But then I pulled out the shoe bag and added a few items and we were good to go. Now I always travel with it. They keep everything organized, and help me to find everything easily ether you unpack in the hotel room or just keep everything in your suitcase. Plus they help to compress your clothes so there's more room for souvenirs to bring home. I will never travel without them.

This Scout Weekender bag is actually the perfect beach bag. It is waterproof, holds everything, has a separate pocket for valuables, and is super lightweight. Sunscreen Bag: I always keep all of the sunscreen altogether in a see-through bag inside of the beach bag.
